Hopperaerobics!: A Two-Hour Excursion into the Museum of Narrative
The paintings of Edward Hopper – more than 800 works altogether – often center on the small moments where stories lurk and brew instead of unfold—leaving it to the writer to shape those moments into narrative. In this two-hour Zoom class, we’ll look at how poets and prosers have been inspired by Hopper’s art and use those as inspiration to generate our own work courtesy of (all-new!) guided prompts.

Me and You and We Are All Together
In this ninety-minute Zoom class, we’ll take a deep dive into two unique and often experimental vantage points—first person plural and second person—and explore how and what these points of view can bring to a very short story. We’ll read some published examples of both and use those to launch and inspire our own work in a series of guided exercises.
Open to all writers, from beginner to pro.
